CPR Training

Plain Township Fire Department offers CPR training to individuals, groups and businesses. The rates for classes are located on the CPR registration form below.

The Fire Department offers Heartsaver CPR, BLS for the Healthcare Provider and Healthcare Provider Check Off services if you have completed the online course from the American Heart Association. The Check Off service is only available when Healthcare Provider training is offered. All trainings follow the American Heart Association standards.

Training classes are offered throughout the year, for dates please check on the website under training dates. A minimum of six (6) people are required to have a training class. If you have a larger group or business and would like to schedule a separate training class, please contact the Fire Department at 330-492-4089 or email us at [email protected].

CPR Course Descriptions

The Heartsaver AED course is designed to train individuals in CPR for adult, child, and infant. It will show how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as, how to deal with emergencies where someone is choking.

The BLS for the Healthcare Provider class will train individuals in CPR for adult, child, and infant, use of the AED, and ventilations with use of advanced airway devices. This class is intended for those individuals in or those entering into the healthcare field, but is open to the public as well.

To sign up for a course please fill out the registration form below or contact the Fire Department at 330-492-4089 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00-4:30.

All classes run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You will only be contacted if the course that you are registered for has been cancelled.
